Veritas Technologies Announces “Partner of the Year” Winners for the Americas

The awards recognize top channel partners for their contributions to the Veritas business as demonstrated by overall performance in revenue growth, program adoption, excellence in technical innovation and strategic implementation of Veritas solutions.

This year’s recipients in each category include:

• Top National Business Partner Overall: Insight
  As a long-standing Veritas partner, Insight was awarded the Top National Business Partner Overall. Insight attained the highest overall revenue across both new and renewal business in the US and has strong executive level alignment in addition to active sales and marketing engagement. The business continues to demonstrate its commitment across all Veritas product lines through participation in several Veritas enablement, awareness and beta programs.
• Top Alliance Partner of the Year: Hitachi Vantara
  Hitachi Vantara achieved the highest overall revenue within the Alliances organization for new business in the Americas. Veritas’ 10+ year global alliance with Hitachi Vantara has enhanced our ability to offer a more cohesive solution to our customers. Due to close executive alignment across their entire organization, the Veritas-Hitachi Vantara Alliance is continuing to develop more offerings to support our joint customers’ data-driven digital transformation journey. Over the past year, Hitachi has been a trusted partner that has created, driven and executed some of the largest deals in the Americas, including the largest software deal in Veritas’ history.
• Top Distribution Partner, US & Canada: Ingram Micro Inc.
  Ingram Micro and Veritas continued to strengthen their relationship in 2020 by leveraging technology to enhance the capabilities of their mutual channel partners and drive better customer experiences. Veritas is now available on Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace and Ingram Micro is leveraging their RenewVue platform to provide automated renewal notifications on behalf of reseller partners. Ingram Micro’s Advanced Solution organization continues to enable channel partners to accelerate their Veritas business through sales and technical education and positively contributed to Veritas business growth in the second half of our fiscal year.
• Top Distribution Business Partner, Public Sector: Carahsoft Technology
  Carahsoft earned this distinction for achieving the highest new business and on time/early renewal programs in the Americas. The business used proactive customer outreach with reseller partner engagement to facilitate the largest Backup Exec sales growth of any distribution partner in FY21. It also provided additional support for federal accounts and has helped lead the company to multiple multi-year BPAs that can be leveraged by the Veritas reseller ecosystem and joint Veritas customer base.
• Top Federal New Business Partner: ThunderCat Technology
  ThunderCat is noted for the highest new business attainment in the Public Sector with 55% year over year billings growth. It has acted as an expert across the entire Veritas portfolio and in turn has doubled its year over year new license and renewals business. Thundercat’s proactive marketing strategies, sales engagement and expertise across government makes them a top partner for our sellers.
• Top New Business Growth National Business Partner, US: Zones
  Zones achieved the largest growth in new business revenue as a U.S. National Partner with 126% year over year new billings growth. Partnering since 2015, Zones actively participates in Veritas’ beta programs and holds monthly Veritas enablement sessions for Zones sellers focusing on Backup Exec, NetBackup and the latest Veritas solutions.
• Top Growth Regional Business Partner, US: Alliance Technology Group
  Alliance Technology Group achieved the largest growth in new business for a Regional Business Partner with 105% year over year billings growth. Alliance Technology Group leveraged the modern capabilities of Veritas solutions through their adoption of NetBackup, APTARE, InfoScale and Flex Appliances.
• Top Growth Business Partner, Canada: ESI Technologies
  ESI is a long standing partner that has extensive knowledge and expertise on Veritas solutions. Vertias’ relationships with executive level teams and field sales and renewals team were key contributors to their FY21 success. ESI leveled up to Veritas Partner Force Platinum status at the mid-year point and ended the fiscal year at 270% of their Growth Revenue Target and 97% of their Renewals Target, with highest New Business growth for the year.
• Top Growth Business Partner, LAMC: Columbia Integração
  Columbia has been selected as the Top Growth Business Partner in Latin America with a year over year billing growth of 78%. It is a long-standing partner and closed a number of strategic deals in FY21, including deals with Banco Bradesco and Amil. They have a strong installed base with high on time renewal rates and provide excellent support and ongoing services for their customers.
• Top Distribution Partner, LAMC: Ingram Micro LAMC
  Ingram Micro LAMC became Veritas’ Regional Distributor, being present for the first time in the entire region. The business is being recognized this year for the results it delivered in Brazil combined with a growing strategy in MCLA and Mexico.
