NEW YORK, NY – May 03, 2017 — /BackupReview.info/ — Datadog, a monitoring service for modern cloud environments, today announced expanded support for Microsoft Azure with a new integration for Azure Storage. This will empower large enterprise companies running their infrastructure on Azure to gain knowledge into the storage services powering their workloads and applications. The integration provides insights such as network errors, connection latency, and storage utilization, enabling customers to keep closer tabs on a vital part of the Azure stack.
“We’ve seen 100 percent growth of Microsoft Azure among our 5,000 enterprise customers over the past year,” said Amit Agarwal, Chief Product Officer, Datadog. “By utilizing Datadog, enterprise customers running cloud environments can effectively manage the performance of their large scale Azure-hosted applications.”
Datadog boasts several Microsoft integrations, from monitoring virtual machines deployed on Azure to collecting metrics and events from native Windows services such as Windows Management Instrumentation and Event Viewer.
“Microsoft understands the importance of monitoring storage services for enterprise customers, and we’re pleased to see Datadog’s support for Microsoft Azure,” said Tad Brockway, general manager, Azure Storage, Microsoft Corp. “Datadog’s solution for monitoring large scale Azure-hosted applications benefits customers with greater insight into their cloud environment.”
