DRAPER, UT – March 14, 2013 — /BackupReview.info/ — One of the world’s leading hosted IT business management software providers and one of the most trusted names in data backup and disaster recovery announced today the availability of an integration module that gives managed service providers (MSPs) the power to simplify and streamline their business processes leveraging the StorageCraft® Recover-Ability™ Solution and the Autotask IT Business Management Solution. The integration module allows MSPs to easily automate their billing processes by mapping and synchronizing data from the StorageCraft MSP portal and StorageCraft Cloud Services™ with their Autotask IT Business Management Solution.

Autotask MSP partners can enable this integration directly from within the StorageCraft MSP portal, giving them convenient access to account and data mapping capabilities for automating and streamlining the process of servicing the backup and disaster recovery needs of their clients. One of the major features is the ability to manage licenses for components of the StorageCraft Recover-Ability Solution, such as StorageCraft ShadowProtect®, and StorageCraft ImageManager™.

“We’re excited to work with StorageCraft on integrating with Autotask. Disaster recovery services are an essential component of the business continuity plans of small businesses, and StorageCraft provides an excellent option for MSPs to protect their clients’ computing systems in an automated and more profitable way. Our goal is to provide joint StorageCraft and Autotask partners with the tools they need to help them focus on building and growing their managed network services business and providing superior service to their clients,” said Len DiCostanzo, senior vice president of community and business development at Autotask. “Autotask’s integration with StorageCraft will yield operational efficiencies that are key to running a profitable IT services business.”

The StorageCraft integration module allows Autotask IT Business Management Solution users to:

  • Track StorageCraft licenses and automate billing from within Autotask
  • Map StorageCraft MSP licenses of ShadowProtect, ShadowStream®, intelligent FTP® and HeadStart Restore® to customer accounts
  • Map and analyze account usage and storage space information from StorageCraft Cloud Services and the StorageCraft MSP Portal
  • Synchronize StorageCraft account data for Autotask contracts automatically
  • Create manual and scheduled updates of billing information between the StorageCraft MSP portal and StorageCraft Cloud Services portal and their Autotask solution
  • Synchronize client history for auditing changes

“This integration gives Autotask partners the ability to efficiently use the most reliable backup and disaster recovery solution on the market today. It provides them with peace of mind in knowing not only their customers’ data can be reliably and quickly recovered in the event of a disaster, but also that their customer billing process will be accurate and the automation will reduce their overhead costs,” said Curt James, vice president of marketing and business development at StorageCraft.

StorageCraft MSP partners interested in enabling integration with Autotask can do so by logging into the StorageCraft MSP portal and following the PSA Integration Setup link.  This integration module is provided free of charge. Currently, the new integration module is only available in the United States and Canada.
