Steve Boulanger Named CFO; Company Also Names Wayne St. Amand as VP of Marketing and Warren Mead as VP of Business Development, Both New Positions

NATICK, Mass. – May 20, 2014  — /BackupReview.info/ — Nasuni®, a provider of enterprise storage to global organizations, today announced that Steve Boulanger, who previously served as chief financial officer at Care.com, has joined the company to serve as its CFO. In addition, Nasuni expanded its executive team with the appointment of Wayne St. Amand to vice president of marketing and Warren Mead to vice president of business development, both of which are new positions.

In addition to naming three new executives to the leadership team, Nasuni announced that sales grew 183 percent 2014 YTD compared to the same period in the previous year. The amount of storage under management also grew by 331 percent over the same period.

“We’ve seen a significant up-tick in the number of global enterprises seeking the kind of cloud-centric storage service that Nasuni provides,” said Andres Rodriguez, CEO of Nasuni. “We’re growing the leadership team to continue meeting that demand and to prepare for even more rapid growth.”

Steven BoulangerBefore joining Nasuni as CFO, Steve Boulanger managed the corporate finance and accounting functions for six years at Care.com, an online family care services marketplace company (NYSE: CRCM).  During that time, he managed five equity financings totaling more than $100 million, as well as three acquisitions, one of which was international. Prior to Care.com Boulanger held similar positions at Tagsys RFID Group, a French-based RFID systems company; OpenPages, Inc., a content and workflow management software company (acquired by IBM); Cimaron Communications, a fabless communications semiconductor company (acquired by AMCC); and FASTech Integration, Inc. a manufacturing automation software company (acquired by Brooks Automation).

Wayne St. AmandWayne St. Amand, Nasuni’s vice president of marketing, has more than two decades of high-tech marketing experience. Most recently, St. Amand was the executive vice president of marketing for Crimson Hexagon, an award-winning provider of social media analytics software to Global 2000 companies. Before Crimson Hexagon, he was director of marketing for ExaGrid Systems, a fast-growing, multi-award-winning developer of advanced data storage and back-up appliances. Prior to ExaGrid, St. Amand ran Electronic Vaulting product marketing for Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM), helping to grow the digital product line from $12 million to more than $100 million in revenues. He has also served in other senior marketing and communications roles at Iron Mountain’s Electronic Vaulting unit, Connected Corporation, (acquired by Iron Mountain), and SilverStream Software (acquired by Novell).

Warren MeadWarren Mead comes to Nasuni with 18 years of experience with sales leadership, business development management, and channel marketing development at fast growing technology companies. Mead served six years as the sales manager at SpeechWorks (now Nuance, NASDAQ: NUAN) from its first customer to a $160 million public company with the 12th most successful IPO of 2000. As the initial sales leader at Virtual Iron, a virtualization and virtualization management company, Warren built and launched a sales model that won more than 3,000 customers and led to an acquisition by Oracle in 2009. Warren has also held senior sales, businesses development and leadership positions at AutoVirt, Akorri, Exoprise, Open Development and Vicorp.

“I’m very proud of the team we’ve assembled,” Rodriguez continued. “Steve’s remarkable achievement as CFO at Care.com speaks for itself, but this is just one of many outstanding outcomes for companies he’s helped lead. As VP of marketing, Wayne brings a remarkable talent for discerning how a product or service delivers the most value to customers, and for then clearly and effectively communicating that value to the market. And, finally, Warren’s record of success leading sales and business development for companies like Speechworks, Virtual Iron and Akkori demonstrates his gift for connecting with prospects and forging alliances that create even more value for customers. With this level of leadership in place, expect to see Nasuni accelerate its already rapid pace of growth.”
