New South Korean location adds to existing KT Cloud Storage-as-a-Service – also powered by Zadara/eBiztech

IRVINE, Calif. & SEOUL, South Korea – March 02, 2016 — /BackupReview.info/ — Zadara™ Storage, the provider of enterprise-class storage-as-a-service (STaaS), and eBiztech today announced the availability of Zadara’s award-winning Virtual Private Storage Array™ (VPSA™) at Kinx data center, supporting the newly launched AWS Seoul, South Korea, region. The Zadara expansion follows the recent AWS announcement of their Seoul region. Zadara has previously announced regional support following AWS expansion into Dublin, Sydney, Tokyo and Frankfurt.

The South Korean market continues to show signs of rapid growth, driving the need for increasing amounts of high-performance, enterprise-class storage. IT professionals are leveraging the flexibility and economic benefits of public and private cloud architectures as they grow their infrastructures. However, they are quickly realizing that traditional Capital Expense-based (CapEx) storage does not meet their scalability and cost targets. Zadara Storage, with its Operating Expense-based (OpEx) offering provides a cost-effective, infinitely scalable, block (SAN) and file (NAS) Storage-as-a-Service solution.

Korean-based businesses and global companies with a presence in Korea who are leveraging the recently opened AWS region in Seoul can now benefit from Zadara Storage solutions being offered by eBiztech at Kinx data center. This new offering builds upon an already successful business relationship between Zadara Storage and eBiztech. In August of last year, Korea Telecom began offering their own Storage-as-a-Service solution by partnering with eBiztech and Zadara Storage.

“We have seen excellent demand for the Zadara Storage solution in the Seoul market,” says Kevin LEE, CEO, at eBiztech. “The Zadara VPSA is a proven solution providing pure OpEx, fully elastic, enterprise-grade storage as a service. We are pleased to be able to expand our offering to AWS users and data centers throughout the region. Our joint customers now have greater choices and more flexibility to build flexible, highly-available corporate storage solutions.”

“We are pleased to be expanding our relationship with eBiztech in the growing South Korean market. Our partnership has been extremely effective in delivering our award-winning VPSA solution to both AWS users and on-premise customers,” said Dani Naor, vice president, international sales, at Zadara Storage. “With this new announcement, we are able to provide our joint solutions to a far larger segment of the region and enable customers to benefit from our award-winning solutions.”
