Tintri Announces Support for Microsoft Hyper-V Virtual Environments

Organizations Can Now Use Microsoft Hyper-V With Tintri VMstore Storage Systems for VM-Level Data Management, Protection and Visibility for Mixed Hypervisor Environments

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – December 11, 2014 — /BackupReview.info/ — Tintri Inc., the leading producer of smart storage for virtualization and cloud environments, today announced support for Microsoft Hyper-V will be generally available on Dec. 18, 2014 for all Tintri VMstore storage appliances running Tintri OS 3.1 or greater. Tintri now supports all three major hypervisor environments—VMware vSphere, Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization and Microsoft Hyper-V.

Tintri VMstore storage is designed specifically for virtualized environments and private cloud deployments. Tintri support for Microsoft Hyper-V with Windows Server 2012 R2 is generally available on Dec. 18, 2014 at no cost to Tintri VMstore customers with a valid Tintri support agreement.
