TORONTO – June 9, 2015 — / — Asigra Inc., a leading Cloud Backup, Recovery and Restore software provider since 1986, today announced that company vice president of corporate marketing, Tracy Staniland, has been named to The Channel Company’s prestigious 2015 CRN® Women of the Channel awards. The annual program honors outstanding female executives across vendor channel organizations, distributors, solution providers, and other women prominently involved in the IT channel ecosystem for their successes and the far-reaching impact they are having on the technology industry.

This year’s Women of the Channel were carefully reviewed and selected by the editors of CRN based on their accomplishments and the influence they wield over the technology channel. Staniland has been instrumental in advancing Asigra’s channel business through the introduction of new programs and initiatives. She has maintained a continuous focus on helping the company’s channel partners grow their cloud backup monthly recurring revenue driven by cloud backup services powered by Asigra. Revenue from channel partners has increased as a result of Staniland’s involvement in several channel initiatives, including developing and launching the Asigra Brand Advocacy Program which involves rewarding partners through gamification, enabling partners to earn badges, points, perks and privileges. Additionally, Staniland was the force behind Asigra’s Lead Referral Program, helping partners to secure business through BANT qualified SMB and Enterprise leads generated and provided by Asigra.

“These executives have made a lasting mark on the industry, expanding their breadth of influence in the technology channel,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and celebrate their innovative contributions and commitment to the IT channel community.”

“Our goal is to continue recruiting new partners and strengthening their ability to successfully drive monthly recurring revenue. Activities to support this include addressing partner challenges and requests, while also continuing to develop compelling content and turnkey marketing campaigns that existing partners can leverage to drive lead nurturing, content syndication, demand generation and awareness programs for their cloud backup services.” said Staniland. “I personally love evangelizing the importance of marketing to help our partners reach the modern buyer to achieve their revenue targets and will continue to prioritize this mission.”
