Ten companies honored at Evolution16, Code42’s first customer conference

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Sep 29, 2016 — /BackupReview.info/ — Ten organizations were honored and celebrated with Evolutionaries awards last week at Code42’s inaugural customer conference, Evolution16. The winners, chosen from more than 30 finalists, were selected for their innovations and advancements in how they have deployed, adopted and championed endpoint data protection to solve their data security, migration and recovery challenges and drive greater user insights.

“Evolution16 was all about education and celebrating customer success,” said Joe Payne, president and CEO at Code42. “It was great to bring customers together and have them share with one another about how they secure their data and enable real-time recovery. Congratulations to the winners of the 2016 Evolutionaries. You inspire us all.”

The award categories highlighted excellence and innovation in how organizations have protected and leveraged their most critical asset, their data. The award winners encompassed a wide range of industries such as healthcare, media, automotive, financial services, technology and education.

Winners of the 2016 Evolutionaries awards include:

  • Baylor University, for the Breakthrough Award, which recognizes an organization that has effectively empowered and educated their users about the value of endpoint backup and security. Every year, Baylor launches a new cybersecurity campaign at the start of National Cyber Security Awareness Month in October that runs through the year to promote a culture of security and privacy.
  • BAYADA Home Health Care, for the Freshest Refresh Award, which recognizes a company that overhauled their data migration process. BAYADA needed a better way to manage data migration, and have now cut their total migration process time in half.
  • Lending Club, for the Rookie Award, which recognizes an organization that has deployed endpoint backup with the greatest impact in the past 12 months. Lending Club deployed endpoint backup companywide, and presented at Evolution16 on “How to Demonstrate the Value of Business-Wide Data Protection.”

National Geographic continues to seek out and deploy the latest features and functionality in the market to protect their endpoint data, which includes some of the most memorable and moving high-definition videos and images.

“Lending Club is honored to receive the Evolutionary award for most creative deployment,” said John MacIlwaine, chief technology officer for Lending Club. “We appreciate our partnership with the Code42 team.”
